Yogyakarta. One of the most exciting matches will be presented in the seventh week of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League. A duel between teams with large fan bases will pit hosts PSM Makassar against PSIM Yogyakarta.
As scheduled, the duel between PSM versus PSIM took place at the Gelora BJ Habibie Stadium, Saturday (27/9/2025) at 15.30 WIB, and was broadcast live on Indosiar and live streaming on Vidio.
In the current standings, PSM Makassar sits in 13th place with six points. Meanwhile, PSIM Yogyakarta sits in fourth place with 11 points.
Both teams boast 10 quality imported players this season.
Quite Dangerous

Juku Eja boasts a roster of quality foreign players, including captain Yuran Fernandes, Aloisio Neto, and Victor Luiz. Their presence makes PSM’s backline impenetrable, and they have conceded only five goals so far.
Then in midfield, there’s Gledson, Daisuke Sakai, Lucas Dias, and Savio Roberto. These players are ready to pose a threat to the visitors, with the latter even scoring a goal last week.
Against PSIM, Juku Eja can rely on the trio of Alex Tanque, Abu Razard Kamara, and Jacques Themopele. All three players are equally gifted with speed and acceleration.
The match against PSIM was Jacques Themopele’s chance to open his scoring account in the BRI Super League. Meanwhile, the other two players combined to score two goals and two assists.
Ready to Spread Threats
On this visit, PSIM brought nine foreign players. They play crucial roles and often play a decisive role in the outcome of matches. Only one player, Donny Warmerdam, is absent due to an ankle injury.
Yusaku Yamadera and Franco Ramos will partner at the heart of the defense. Their presence provides a sense of security to PSIM’s back line. Coach Jean-Paul van Gastel has consistently used them in the last six matches.
Moving on to the midfield, where Ze Valente and Rakhmatsho Rakhmatzoda are usually located. The former is the lifeblood of the game in this area. The Portuguese midfielder is known as a midfield general with visionary passing.
PSIM’s front line will still rely on Nermin Haljeta, who has scored one goal and provided three assists in six matches so far. Furthermore, Ezequiel Vidal and Anton Fase are also worth keeping an eye on.
Vidal and Anton have each scored two goals. Two other forwards who could be options are Rafael Rodrigues, also known as Rafinha, and Deri Corfe.
