Pandansimo Bridge Officially Opens, the Longest in Yogyakarta, a New Icon in Bantul
The 2,300-meter Pandansimo Bridge, Yogyakarta’s longest, has officially opened for traffic trials. Linking Bantul and Kulon Progo Regencies, it is a new southern coastal icon, featuring earthquake damping technology and a MURI record. Authorities expect smoother traffic and economic growth, though supporting facilities are still needed.
