LPMPP UNJA Develops Adaptive Digital Learning with the Ministry of Education and Science and Technology

Jambi. In order to improve the quality of digital learning in higher education, the University of Jambi (UNJA) through the Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institute (LPMPP) together with the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) held the Digital Learning Workshop Batch II of 2025. This activity took place in the Meeting Room on the 3rd Floor of the UNIFAC Building, UNJA Mendalo, from September 29 to October 1, 2025.

This workshop activity was officially opened by the Rector of UNJA, Helmi. Also present were the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of UNJA, Prof. Dr. Hafrida, SH, MH, and the Chairperson of LPMPP, Prof. Dr. Sunarti, MP. This activity also invited the Director of Learning and Student Affairs, Kemdiktisaintek, Dr. Beny Bandanadjaja, ST, MT, Chairperson of LLDIKTI Region X, Afdalisma, SH, M.Pd., who also gave remarks online via zoom.

This workshop was attended by lecturers in the UNJA environment by presenting several competent speakers, including Dr. Uwes Anis Chaeruman, M.Pd., and Dr. Alim Sumarno, M.Pd., from Jakarta State University, Dr. Henry Praherdhiono, S.Si., M.Pd., from Malang State University, Hartoto, S.Pd., M.Pd., from Makassar State University, Dr. Eko Risdianto, S.Si, M.Cs., from Bengkulu University, and Dr. Eng. Ayu Purwarianti, ST, MT, from Bandung Institute of Technology.
UNJA Rector, Helmi, emphasized that academic ethics are needed in facing the transformation of AI technology in the world of education.

“We all understand that technological transformation, including AI, is merely a tool for seeking information. Therefore, this presents a major challenge in the world of education. We need to uphold academic ethics and maintain transparency and credibility,” the Chancellor emphasized.

The Director of Learning and Student Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Culture, Dr. Beny Bandanadjaja, ST, MT, said that the AI ​​generation has a great opportunity to support the contribution of higher education institutions to national development programs.

“This program encourages universities to make real contributions to national development, particularly in education, research, and community service. In the digital era, generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology opens up enormous opportunities for us,” said Dr. Benny.

The Head of LLDIKTI Region X, Afdalisma, SH, M.Pd., said that in this era, universities must be able to adapt to developments in digital technology.

“The development of digital technology has fundamentally changed the way we live, work, and learn. Universities, as the vanguard of scientific development, are undoubtedly required to adapt quickly,” said Afdalisma, M.Pd.

Through this workshop, UNJA demonstrated its commitment to improving the quality of digital learning that adapts to technological developments, including the use of AI. This workshop represents a concrete step toward creating a superior, relevant, and ready higher education ecosystem that faces the challenges of the digital transformation era.
