Blending Technology and Creativity Entrepreneur Hub Lampung 2025 Ignites Student Entrepreneurship at ITERA

Lampung. On Tuesday, 29 October 2025, the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small & Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia teamed up with ITERA to host Entrepreneur Hub Lampung 2025 at the General Lecture Hall 2 (4th floor) on the ITERA campus. The event brought together students from various study programmes with the aim of fostering entrepreneurial spirit within the university environment while cultivating innovation-based and creativity-driven business mindsets.

Technology Meets Innovation & Creativity

The first session was moderated by entrepreneurship practitioner Wisnu Sakti Dewobroto, who stressed the crucial role of technology in shaping a generation of adaptable, business-oriented youth. He said: “Technology forms the foundation of every innovation step at ITERA. I’m confident this campus can mould a youth generation with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, both in the technology industry and the creative industry.”

Dual Perspectives: Tech & Creative Industries

The programme featured two main speakers:

  • Jam’ah Halid, S.Si., M.Si., Operational Director at PT Rekacipta Inovasi ITB, who emphasised the commercialisation of campus innovations to bridge student research with industry. He urged students to identify the business potential in their university-led innovations, protect these through intellectual property rights, and build collaborations. (ITERA) “Universities have human resources, laboratory facilities, and intellectual property that can be developed into economic value. Students must be able to find the market value of their research, protect it with intellectual property rights, and build collaboration.”
  • Indra Sinaga, vocalist of the band ADA Band and a player in the creative industry, who shared his experience in the music business as a real-world example where creativity, technology and independence form the basis of entrepreneurship. He observed that the music industry has transformed into a creative-entrepreneur ecosystem open to anyone. “With technology evolving, anyone can create and promote their music independently via a mobile phone. Today’s music industry is not just about art, but about business based on expression. What matters is not being big at the label, but being big at the heart of the listener.” He also stressed that the same ethos applies across the creative industries: knowing your target audience and forging an emotional connection are key to entrepreneurial success in the digital era.

Engaging Dialogue and Memorable Moments

The session progressed into a lively Q&A which generated enthusiasm and inspiration among participants. As a memorable finale, Indra Sinaga delivered a live performance that added warmth and resonance to the event’s atmosphere.

Building the Creative-Tech Entrepreneur Generation

Entrepreneur Hub Lampung 2025 has been highly praised for delivering not only entrepreneurship insights, but also for integrating technology and creativity to build a generation of innovative young people ready to contribute to Indonesia’s creative economy.
