Comipara, short for Comic Paradise, was initiated by professional Indonesian comic artists as a platform to build a healthy and interconnected creative ecosystem. Their ultimate goal? To bridge creators with the industry—including publishers, studios, readers, and the community.
This year’s fifth edition carries the compelling theme: “Connect Your Passion.” This theme emphasizes the importance of connection and collaboration between all elements: creators, fans, and the community, in supporting the rapid growth of the national comics industry.

Even more impressive, Comipara is collaborating with the Yogyakarta Tourism Office. This demonstrates its commitment to strengthening Yogyakarta’s position not only as a cultural city but also as a creative city and a modern arts tourism destination.
