Yogyakarta. Muhammadiyah Sapen Elementary School, Yogyakarta, has once again achieved a brilliant achievement in the national education arena. In the 2025 National Science Olympiad ( OSN ) Finals , held offline in Jakarta from September 21-26, 2025, Muhammadiyah Sapen Elementary School won a total of medals and dominated the science and mathematics categories at the elementary school level throughout Indonesia.
This success confirms the position of Muhammadiyah Sapen Elementary School as one of the leading schools with a strong academic tradition, as well as being a source of pride for the people of the Special Region of Yogyakarta at the national level.
In science, students from Muhammadiyah Sapen Elementary School achieved outstanding results. Hidetoshi Kinan Muhammad earned a Gold Medal, demonstrating his brilliance in mastering science concepts and critical thinking skills.
Meanwhile, Annisa Nabila Adhyaksa Nugroho added to her list of achievements by winning the Bronze Medal, showing that the spirit of learning and hard work always pays off.
Equally impressive was the achievement of two students in Mathematics, who also brought honor to the school. Dzakwan Casey Aidan earned a Silver Medal, demonstrating his acuity in logical reasoning and solving high-level mathematical problems. Meanwhile, Arkatama Shifan Winatra further strengthened Muhammadiyah Sapen Elementary School’s dominance by winning a Bronze Medal in the same field.
The total of four medals won at the 2025 National Science Olympiad (OSN) is a clear testament to the quality of education implemented by the school, ranging from the support of professional teaching staff, a conducive learning environment, collaboration between the school and parents, to intensive coaching to hone students’ abilities.
